ScudCloud Version

Paste the output for scudcloud --version below:
ScudCloud 1.63
Python 3.6.3rc1
Qt 5.9.1
WebKit 538.1
PyQt 5.7
SIP 4.18.1

Distro and Desktop info

  • Distribution: Ubuntu
  • Version/Release: 17.04 (same on 17.10)
  • Desktop environment: KDE (also tried on Gnome 3)
I have tried this on two different PCs (both Ubuntu 17.04)

Expected behavior

On first run, when scudcloud prompts me to find my team and I am redirected to a browser, and I successfully login with SSO, then scud cloud will load my team in the scudcloud client.

Actual behavior

Team opens in browser, but scud cloud permanently displays the prompt to find team. It never displays anything else. Scud cloud does not hang btw.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install scud cloud
  2. Follow prompt to enter team url and click continue
  3. Sign in using SSO for your organisation (don't know if SSO matters)
4, Scud cloud never displays team, but stays prompting you to find your team.

This is a duplicate of #594.

The problem is, in you case, your QT/webkit is too new. You have to force Qt 5.7.1. But I have no idea about the libqt5webkit5 package versions in 17.04/17.10.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think it is a duplicate of #594, since the reporter can get past the sign in to your team prompt, and can get it working if he persistently restarts it. My ScudCloud has never been beyond the the prompt to sign in to your team ever! Are there any plans to update ScudCoud to 17.04/17.10? Or can I work around it? (Tried it on Gnome 3 with the same results). Very keen to get the integration that ScudCloud offers :-)
