Some glyphs not rendering

I have a couple symbols to draw an cat but it doesn't render. I use MesloLGL Nerd Font on both
Here it is on kitty.

On rio

I can render the symbols if I use Noto Sans Canadian Aboriginal font, or any font that has those symbols. But they look scrunched together
