Detailed description
By way of an intro the first computer I worked on in 1966/67 was a Univac 490 and it was running the British Airways ( then BAE and BOAC) online reservation system its total memory was a Mercury Delay line and I seem to remember it had less than 100K WORDs of effective storage,( A Word was then 30 bits long, later to change to 36bits long ie 6 bytes)..anyway not a huge amount.
In the intervening years we have had some extremely major changes and advances in the technology none as in the latest with the true introduction of Ai.
However back to Chapter 7 is this chapter really in the correct place in the book it comes after some "methodology" chapters and is followed immediately by a chapter on Time Lapse Photography. Personally, I think the chapter should be moved towards the end of the book. But that said the chapter as presented now goes from fairly introductory subject of how to set the AI kit up straight into commands that include "Features/Functions" that have had not introduction and I had to go searching around the internet trying to get up to some level of understanding of what the purpose of the commands were trying to achieve. Then what would we do with this resulting information once those commands were executed??????
I am still at a loss, the subject of Ai needs an introduction ie a "soft landing" this book does not do this any justice....I was originally going to bypass sending in these comments, but the more I thought about it I realised something needs to be said.
This book is I believe positioned as an introduction to using cameras in the Rpi world, chapter 7 fails to even come close to bringing people up to speed with how Ai is/can be implemented within the Rpi world and why?
