Because BlackBerry 10 supports Android native, the BlackBerry branch has been removed and it is required to use the Android build to make things work... but it is really a pain in the butt to do Android builds, so re-add the BlackBerry classes to make it easier to work with.

This will be a separate set of branches that exist solely for doing BlackBerry builds.

Learn Android later :P

May not actually happen, given that BB seems to be on the path to switch to Android.
