So few games support it, that to have support for it would be a pretty big selling point.

Look at following documents and at supported APIs for potential implementation support

Platform support

Windows: definitely there, but may be tough to hook into
OS-X: probably something, but don't have anything to compile a test on
Linux: Um...
Android: Might be there
iOS: same boat as OS-X support
