Problem/Opportunity

The latest DSHAL changes are causing the middleware image to reboot continuously

Steps to reproduce

Flash MW image and run the MW sanity tests

Expected Behavior

MW sanity tests should pass

Actual Behavior

MW sanity tests are failing
Device is keep-on rebooting
