Can you enable debug logging in the help menu, reproduce the problem, and send a new log? |
Done, The log is 4BL43U54-euc/7.0.0-7. I will send the zip file in response to your e-mail. |

Debug Log ID is BM625NZC-euc/7.0.0-7
I am running version 7.0.0, but getting the message that the most recent version is 6.7.267.
The problem is the updating: it does not work regularly, sometimes update takes a day, sometimes a couple hours.

You have the update delay set to 25 seconds, is that deliberate? 25 seconds makes it fairly easy to push back updates for a long time. |

Your last question was "there was this button", I explained you where it was. If the button does not work, you can either keep wishing, or reproduce the problem and send a log. The latter will allow me to look into the problem. I have very little patience for passive-aggressive problem reports. |

Thank you! The system started working. The log tab has disappeared, I cannot send the log. However, updates are working. With the new Microsoft update it became impossible even to export the library. It now works, too.

Better Bibtex was autoexporting for a couple days and stopped again. The debug log number is D1395642348. Interestingly, it does not show correctly the date of the last update, "Export now" does not work. Again, it is again impossible to export the whole file from the "File" tab. |

I see Debug Output in Help, it says "submitted with Debug ID D620509018". I can copy and send the file. But if I just have to periodically reinstall your .xpi file, I can live with it.

The reinstall in and of itself has no effect. If the debug build fixes it for you (it has various fixes from other issues), it stays fixed. Which would be good to know, because these fixes will go into the upcoming release. If it does not fix it, periodic reinstalls will do nothing. |
It is unstable. I was sending debug logs from "File" and from "Help". Apparently, it didn't work. Interestingly, "help" looses enabling Debug Output Logging spontaneously. Doesn't work now. I suspect Microsoft may be doing something "behind the scene", the laptop is on the internet.

There are two (sometimes three) debug log options in the help menu. One goes to Zotero, one to me. If the BBT option does not appear, file.io should. Both go to me.
The zotero one works, I just have no access to those logs.
That would be a zotero bug.
Unlikely. If you can no longer enable debug logging, you should report that on the zotero forums. |
