Describe the bug

There are a lot of bugs, probably due to deprecated syntax in Qt5

To Reproduce

followed the readme

Device: Raspberry Pi 4, 4GB
Camera: Canon EOS 500D
GPIO: No

Software (please complete the following information)

OS: latest Raspbian
Python version: the one that's being installed by following the readme.
