Hi. Im just curious what really happen? Who was responsible for shutting down the online server?
Was there a stupid "seize or desist" involved? or just decided to shut it down if you lost interest with Freeso or way too much
online activity taking up servers? I did read about the servers crashing when it was launched earlier.
I grow up with Sims 1 and only played Sims 1. I wouldn't be interested with playing the online version so I always stick with the regular game. At least all the objects, skins, walls, and floors that are exclusive to Sims Online was already been converted
but the only thing that wasn't been recovered was the user interface graphics! I managed to get a hold of them myself
and only from a prototype demo because the released Sims Online has those files on a different format Im not familiar with and unable to extract! Luckily, the interface graphics like the buttons, icons, and the whole menu design that replaced the regular game one are all in bmp! The change with the file type when it was released might have something to do with compressing them in order to save room with memory.
Anyway, whatever happen to Freeso let me know about it.
