Problems with bezier curves

I'm having trouble with some bezier curves. Demo here: https://codepen.io/matelich/pen/MMdexz

Note: I had to fix a number of parsing errors to handle these compacted paths. It's possible that the problem is with my changes to the parsing, but I think it looks correct. I just pasted all the code in out of laziness and edited it inline.
