RFC: Archive this repository?

This list hasn't seen meaningful updates in several years and many of the problems it lists are quite well solved now, so it's not clear to me that having it around brings much value to embedded users. The awesome-embedded-rust list is much more popular and full of good crates, blog posts, etc!

I propose we update the README to explain this list is no longer used and then archive the repository.
