Arguments should be intuitive. Possible way of starting is punch-in project and ending punch-in --out project.

Additional args too be considered

yeah, that's the generally form I was thinking of. Also thinking of letting them specify how time is stored, which ties into #2, though that's assuming I let it be human readable (though I can't see any use for not letting it be so).

Gonna expand it to be punch (in|out|status) [PROJECTNAME] that way you can check out either the time you've spent so far in the punch or the overall time spent on the project.
