I've check in panel.rc that you used bold fonts, it's kinda big IMO. I've changing it to noto sans or roboto and it lookin great.

Anyway your theme is cool. I like it.

The font color also still too much dark I guess, lighten up a bit would be great

I, personally, use light panel background, which comes with the theme, so my panel looks like this:

Of course, feel free to modify theme as you prefer :)
