Can't block portmaster-core_v1-6-10.exe and portmaster-start.exe #1816

Hi. Thanks for your app.
I tried to block portmaster-core_v1-6-10.exe and portmaster-start.exe because your firewall is always connecting to the internet and I don't want that behavior - this is not a social networking app to update news/etc. But strangely, even if I correctly set the path to my new rule and block the Internet, firewall just ignores this rule and is still able to connect to the Internet.
How is this possible? Is it some kind of backdoor?

Quick Look in the wiki helps.

Portmaster updates filter lists, geo ip and such things hourly

also FYI a backdoor does not need an active connection to the outside... a backdoor is supposed to be as silent and hidden as possible until it is used... having a backdoor that connects each hour would be super stupid 😉
