When opening a new browser window, including incognito mode, the new search engine prompt always appears, as long as Google is selected as the search engine.
Only if another search engine is selected (e.g. DDG) it stops to appear on every open. But when afterwards switching back to Google as the search engine, it continuously starts appearing again.
I have found no way to make this prompt stop while still having Google selected as the search engine.
This was not the case prior to PR #216. I would assume this is not intended and a bug.
