Would be nice to have the option to see the tab with the list of grenaded tabs without grenading more tabs.

Yep, this is the most wanted feature. It will be there on the next release.

populate the index page when visited directly

When indexURL is opened manually (from a bookmark or set as homepage),
populate the otherwise blank page with a listing of all grenaded tabs.

This allows users to bookmark the index page and/or set it as homepage.

Check out my pull request #31 which lets you see the grenaded tab list by visiting its URL. 💝 I personally set that URL as my homepage, so whenever I open a new Firefox window, I see the grenaded tab list. 🍰
