Is there a way to use nginx and imgproxy without docker?

Hello, I've already tried Docker and it works perfectly. I like the ideas, but since I already have a server running nginx for the web, I want to use the rule directly on nginx and run imgproxy directly as well. Do you have any clues on how to do that?
