Text selection may select more text than expected

Description

When manually selecting part of the text field, more text may be selected than expected. It can both select more characters to the left or to the right.

Reproducible in:

• This is reproducible in the sample project.

Sample project setup: iOS 11.0 and 10.3.1, iPhone 5s simulator

SlackTextViewController version: Slack on iOS (v 3.28), SlackTextViewController 1.9.5
iOS version(s): iOS 11
Device(s): iPhone 7 Plus / 1st gen 12.9” iPad Pro

Steps to reproduce:

1. Type some text
2. Select a part of the text

Expected result:

It should select exactly the characters highlighted

Actual result:

More text than highlighted will be selected

@BasThomas is this an issue on iOS 11 only then?
Were you able to test and reproduce on the sample project?

Haven’t been able to check on iOS 10 / in the sample project. Will update when I’ve had time to do so 👍

Also reproducible on the sample project on iOS 11 and 10.3.1, using the iPhone 5s sim.
