Work on errors kicked up by the dark corner of EDM #4

When attempting to convert all of the SLAC edm displays there are some errors that get kicked up. I have a feeling it is because of some EDM displays that are either broken or extremely custom. These were not looked into due to development time, and that the displays that break the converter are all in repos that are not a priority for my team
