Ideas platform project #82

This sounds quite interesting, but the Google Doc us locked! |
Hi
Hey Andy, thanks for your interest! I update the google doc link and should work now. The document is still empty now and I would like to use it as a brainstorming sheet on Sunday, but will add some info to it very soon. |
I like this idea, and want to team up with you. I don't know a thing in programming, hope that won't be a barrier? |
Hey, thanks a lot fot your interest! Absolutely not, I would love teaming up with any interested person! We can discuss the programming issue today. Looking forward to the discussion! |
@brolosy Thanks for your response. I am following the thread online, and of a truth, I don't quite understand how this github thing works, so if the discussion will be here, or elsewhere, do drop a note. BTW, the Journal of brief ideas looks good |
Where are you sitting? |
Hey we are at table 11. Please join if you are interested. |

Description
//: # "=======================
The human brain is magnificent and always in a process of thinking, all of us often come up with great random ideas on different topics that are not in our field of expertise or work, for example when we reading an article or experiencing something. We don't tend to pursue those ideas because of our time constrains or lack if technicalities. That is too unfortunate as some of those ideas may be very useful for the development of humanity. I propose having an idea platform where people can write the random ideas they get and which they aren't willing to pursue themselves, if of course scientifically valid. The platform shall be divided into sections where experts willing to find new ideas can navigate through and pursue the ideas they find interesting. This project aims at preventing great random ideas that our amazing brains think about from being lost.

What are we working on during the do-a-thon? What kinds of support do we need?
//: # "=======================
The project is still in the 'idea' phase. I am looking forward to brainstorm with the attendees on how to initiate such project. I have started a google doc for this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10_4hwmMinGLrQFX8P-Clci0qzEh-_ozEs1z1ti9u9UM/edit?usp=sharing
I am interested in making a team in OpenCon that would be enthusiastic about this project and work during the do-a-thon session and later after the meeting on this project.
Since the project aims at creating an online platform, I will need help with the coding necessary to generate a platform for sharing common ideas.

How can others contribute?

Brainstorming on how to initiate this project. I have started a google doc for this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10_4hwmMinGLrQFX8P-Clci0qzEh-_ozEs1z1ti9u9UM/edit?usp=sharing
I will also need help to find coders interested in helping set up the platform.
