I am studying the SPO2 algorithm and I don't find out what is ratioAverage ?

Ratio average is deined as ratio of (AC-component of RED/DC-component of RED)/(AC-component of IR/DC-component of IR). Which then can be used in SpO2 equation which can be a linear or quadratic equation.
