Time to fix a bug and number of discussion messages associated with a bug are often considered (imperfect) measures of the effort required to fix a bug. Similarly for the sizes of the commits and for the number of times a bug report (issue) is reopened. We'd like to establish a relationship, if it exists, between the classes in the source code that use concurrent programming constructs and the length of the discussions (in terms of number of messages), the sizes of the commits, the time that it takes to fix these issues, and, if possible, with the number of times issues associated with these classes get reopened.
