I write and maintain several open source packages, most notably:

  • nanodjango - run Django models and views from a single file, and convert it to a full project.
  • Mara - an asynchronous event-based Python framework for building network services
  • docker0s - use docker-compose to manage multiple containerised apps on a single host
  • Django Tagulous - fabulous tagging for Django
  • Django Fancy Formset - a pure JavaScript library to manage Django formsets
  • Django Powerwiki - a work-in-progress wiki system for Django
  • Django Yarr, a customisable RSS reader for Django
  • Python Perl, Perl as a Python module

I aim for my projects to be easy to use, but that often makes them complicated to maintain. I gave a talk about this at PyCon UK, Syntactic sugar vs maintainability.

Juggling work and family can make it difficult to find time to spend on open source. Sponsorship will allow me to spend more time working on my current and future projects.
