About Me
I'm a software engineer out of Phoenix, Arizona. 100% of the tools and education I have came from the internet, and I do what I can to give back.
What I'm doing
I enjoy building things, both virtual and physical. Coding started as a hobby in middle school. While I'm grateful for the journey that has led me to my current role as a full-time engineer, the hobby aspect remains. I love solving problems with code! You'll find that I spend a lot of my discretionary time working on or writing about some idea that I can't otherwise get out of my head.

My blog posts and open-source contributions happen on my own time. There is a perennial tension between spending time on home projects or software projects. Sponsorship helps me do both: I can pay local contractors in my physical community to fix plumbing and paint fences so that I can spend more focused time giving back to my virtual community.
