The full example runs fine, but your template doesn't run here, because of this error.

Also a lot of the example code is still in it. I wouldn't really call that a "template".

Hi @K-marad thanks for taking the time to file an issue.

Unfortunately, it has been a year since I have dedicated any time to this repo and several pieces have fallen into disrepair. On top of that, my method for deploying vue and sails applications has changed. I generally build out the client and server in two separate repos, deploy the serverside normally, then deploy the client side to a CDN (such as netlify or cloudfront) instead of having the client side served from the API.

I will leave this open as a warning / explanation to all who pass through here, but I wont mark the repo as archived / not maintained as I would like to fix it up so that those who want to use this method have an easier time then when I first started.
