how do you install on linux?

I've spend hours trying to install this unsuccessfully and no matter what I do it crashed on launch. I am on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Extract the folder into your Steam installation of Terraria.
Run with dotnet Terraria.dll or dotnet TerrariaDebug.dll, whichever file you have.
If it still crashes, provide the error here, please.
