What happened?

On mobile web, right swiping from Express checkout heading, ‘Book with Gpay’ is focused but not announced. On right swiping again it focuses and announces.

Expected behaviour: On right swiping from Express checkout heading, ‘Book with Gpay’ should be focused and announced.

Full repro steps:

  1. Launch screen reader (this was tested using the Mac VoiceOver)
  2. Go to a page with the ExpressCheckoutElements that has the Google Pay
  3. Focus the ExpressCheckoutElements and use either Tab/Shift+tab or CapsLock+LeftArrow/CapsLock+RightArrow to navigate the screen reader to the Google Pay
  4. Gpay wont be announced but if we swipe again, it will be announced.
