To reproduce the issue, follow these steps:

• Run the demo
• Open a new window
• Select iPad Pro in a device selector
• Refresh a page

A dropdown is opened as follows:

I discussed this issue with our developers. When a dropdown is being opened on iPad, the popup appears in touch device mode. This is the expected behavior. If you wish to change the way a popup appears, implement the SurveyModel.onOpenDropdownMenu function and specify the options.deviceType based on a user's device as needed.
