It appears that the deployment workflow is broken for the repository, however upgrading to Node.js 18 fixes the issue (at least for me using npm with vsce package --no-yarn)
Is there any reason the repository is still using Node.js 16 for the deployment script? Or would a PR bumping it be accepted?
