I'm intending to do some work here, so I can have a PR out relatively soon.

edit: I plan to support primId and instanceId for usdView selection support via cryptomatte. These could be produced via PASS_OBJECT, but deriving these from cryptomatte is easier and I want full cryptomatte for our pipeline, so is nice to go in that direction.
