Could it be possible to set a thumbnail size and/or quality? By default ETA creates higher quality thumbnails than are in many of my very old JPGs and lower quality ones than many of my newer ones have.
Caveat: it is sometimes not clear to me when Android apps are reading the embedded thumbnail and when they are building their own. But the thumbnails displayed by the AOSP Files app seem to usually (always?) use the embedded one if it's available so I'm basing this request on my experience with that app. Feel free to clarify any misunderstandings on my part.
