Configuration window doesn't work as expected, requires using additional menu item to save settings.

Environment

• TeXstudio: 4.8.5
• Qt: 6.71R
• OS: Windows 11
• TeX distribution: miktex

Expected behavior

Configuration to be remembered between sessions without needing an unusual step of using a separate menu option to save the settings.

Actual behavior

Configuration is not saved when pressing "OK", instead there is a separate menu option for saving the settings. This is a terrible user experience.

How to reproduce

Use config window, change your build settings, restart the app, notice they are forgotten.

I think there's no general issue. Since 4.8.2 configuration changes are saved when closing the config dialog with ok, not until closing texstudio app. Maybe you can tell us what exactly the change was and how you proceeded.
