[Change] A new app icon #53
Comments
Hi @EmilPetrakiev! Thanks so much for those kind words—they mean a lot. It's rare that people say nice things, especially in Issues (for any project, haha). The icon looks lovely! I'd love to make something like this the icon. I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of the existing icon either (especially how unclear it looks when displayed tiny in the system tray). Out of curiosity, how did you make this icon? Would you mind:
I think this would help Writing Tools stand out better (when reverse image searching it) amongst many other generic icons that may look similar to a felt pen, and also represent its identity better as an AI tool with some vitality. Thank you again for your minimalistic beautiful work, I love it! |
Hello! I used Krita to create it. (It's not the perfect software for this kind of job, but it works) Here is the revised version, I hope you like it! Here's the system tray icon with the stars: (For the system tray, I'm not sure if it would look good with these stars, as it is a very small icon and it may end up looking cluttered.) |
Wow, thank you so much @EmilPetrakiev ! Would you mind sharing the Krita file so I could just try out a few modifications? :D |
Okay, they are a little bit messy but I hope they work out for you. |
Thank you so much :) |
Hello! I found your project recently and I found it very interesting. Yesterday I downloaded the app and I set it up with a local LLM. I'm pleased to report that the app works very well! I want to to congratulate all people who worked on the app for their efforts!
I really like the app, but I don't feel like the icon suits it well, so I made a new one just for you to use. I hope you like it!
There are two versions. One for the system tray and one for the app itself.
