Color palette for the brand

We need a palette of colors for the brand to be used in a range of things from links to headers to the logo itself.

Hm, I would go rather low key on color for the headlines etc, to try to keep the content itself in center. We naturally need a link color, and we might make the headlines dark gray instead of totally black, but I think the book is going to be black and white, so we should design the brand so that it also works with just black ink.

So perhaps make somewhat symbolic one color images for any icons / repeating elementts in the book, so those same can also be in the book even if it is black and white.

All right, I had an idea for a color palette. I've used soft colors for docs before (e.g. pretty much all of the GNOME docs), so it's not a style I'm against. I just thought a darker, bolder look would be fun for this. And I agree about not using a lot of colors in the formatting.

Anyway, the palette I tossed up in #62 is quite dark. So I thought about riffing on the road theme of the draft logos, and using colors from traffic signs. Caveat 1: The association of these colors is likely US-centric. Caveat 2: I am color-blind, so I don't create color palettes. I do internet searches for existing color palettes matching a theme.
