Fire TV Stick - Can't press PS4 icon to start remote session

Environment

• OS/Distribution: Fire TV OS
• Hardware: Fire Tv Stick Gen 2
• Exact Version or Commit Hash and Installation Method: official 1.3 android apk - side loaded

Describe the bug
It's impossible to press the "PS4 icon" on the screen, all other buttons are accessable and work

To Reproduce
Console is registered, get's discovered, wakes up and color changes from orange to blue.
Normally you would press the "PS4 icon" to start the remote session. Here it is simply imposible. I can't navigate to the left of the screen with the remote.
Tried Fire TV remote, Remote app and a connected keyboard. A mouse is not working
