You can propose a blog post on this issue that showcases some functionality or interactivity of the tidyomics ecosystem.

You can tag yourself next to the topic you would like to tackle.

Hey I would love to contribute to this. I can write a post about my package and also a quick overview on the blog about tidyomics

Great! The blog at this stage (the beginning) should be mostly focused on any topic tidyomics, maybe an application to your package! Alternatively, a few needed topics are also listed above.

assigning myself to Multi-sample single cell analysis and Interpreting PCs in relation to clusters in single cell (Robert Gentleman's idea). Can start working on this next week. Depending on time could also do Removal batch effect for visualisation

Great project!

Great project!

Amazing! The blog expert here is @william-hutchison.

@william-hutchison can you please

  • readapt the blog to the new tidyomics account. Sorry about that!
  • After that @paupaiz will be able to fork the blog and add a post. BlogDown is the framework we use, and it is really simple. @william-hutchison knows what commands to use to write a new post. You could write a little step-by-step command guide here, so all contributors will be able to create a new post very easily.

No worries at all, I have updated the blog with the new account name.

Hi @paupaiz! As @stemangiola mentioned, we are using Hugo and BlogDown to build the website. Hopefully any additions will only require making a fork, adding your content, building with blogdown::build_site() and then pushing back to this repository. I have been following the documentation available here https://bookdown.org/yihui/blogdown/hugo.html.

Feel free to get started anytime. I will add a blog post myself soon, and will record detailed instructions of the process to share with any future blog contributors.

For anyone reading this issue and thinking about creating a blog post, there is now a small guide in CONTRIBUTING.md

Thanks! I added @william-hutchison as a reviewer. However, I see just one pull request.
