Some Item ideas from Endarire:

Magic Items: Elemental Gems. Break one and spawn an elemental. Very effective when I as GM used highly maneuverable gargoyles to drop them on PCs.

Flying Carpets and Brooms of Flight: Of course!

Wands, Scrolls, Potions, and Staves: Obviously!

Boots of Speed: One of my favorite items from Baldur's Gate.
