lost event information when entering an event with an invalid venue

I wasn't expecting the venue field to require a matching venue, I thought I could just type in any text there, since no error was indicated while filling out the form.

After I submitted the event, I got the error message:

and my event data was lost. At the very least, the form should preserve the data I entered if it's going to show me this error. Better would be to prevent me from clicking "submit" until a valid venue is entered. Even better would be to prompt me to create the venue after submitting the event, like how Calagator.org handles creating new venues.

I'll add that the same thing happened to me just to confirm @aaronpk's experience.

Yeah, this is horrible. Fixing it ASAP. Sorry about that.
