Proposed changes

  • Go through every file and change every official whole-file and in-game displayed license (excluding whole files and inline code by individual users) to the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, the one which is officially stated at the root of the original CAP repository.

Evidence

In-game open the spawnmenu and navigate to Stargate (Tool tab) > Config > Credits, it says that CAP is licenced under CC BY-NC-ND 3.0

Explanation

All across the CAP code and in-game, there is references to a bunch of different licences. For contributing users, this is fine as they may license their code under whichever licence they saw fit at the time. However, for official CAP code it should all be licenced under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Of course all comment based credit to users will still remain in all files.

In light of the recent conversation with one of the CAP developers. In addition to what's originally stated in this issue, the licence, copyright disclaimer and contributor credits need to be publicly available and easily accessible.

Edit: Added a link to the conversation, I'm not trying to hide anything and I don't mind if it's public.
