Trouble: Static build

Is there a separate instructions to build "static" executable?

In Debian 10 and CentOS7 (all x64) there was error with *.a libraries absence.
In CentOS6 there is error with g++ itself and *.a libraries also:
g++: unrecognized option '-static-libstdc++' /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -licuuc collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [static] Error 1

I supposed such case. Could you share a script for such buulding if you have any?

we are bulding it in one dedicated virtual, there is no script to build such virtual from scratch
