Would you comply with https://www.w3.org/TR/2016/WD-resource-hints-20160225/, it's still a draft, but the w3c link checker marks such links as broken ?

First, I note that this is now a standard: Resource Hints.
So I guess that the issue might have somehow been resolved.

Can you clarify the problem? What do you mean by "broken"? Can you give an example? Does the page you're checking have links that don't work, about which you don't think the checker should complain? I'd think e.g. a link marked rel="prefetch" should still exist and the checker should complain if it doesn't.
