Hey, started playing around this recently when I noticed it was downloading electron as a dependency. Is that right? Is electron necessary or did it just include better APIs than were otherwise available?

A dependency is electron-webrtc and it looks like that lets you use WebRTC by... downloading and running a full electron+chromium instance in the background...

In theory, if this shim were based on node-webrtc it wouldn't need Electron/Chromium...
