Doesn't work with MKS SGEN_L V2 mainboard

I can't seem to get the TFT28 to work with an upgraded SGEN_L V2 mainboard on my X1. I've tried various firmware and revisions. The right side of the screen will not work. Tried doing a reset and calibration and it fails every time.

I read on another post that you need to isolate the board with plastic washers, but that didn't help. Same issue.

Has anyone got this to work? Any ideas?
