cannot connect to inverter

Hi all, I've just come across this nice integration in the HACS and wanted to connect to my inverter but it's just not working. I'm using the network option to connect and entering my inverter ip address + 502 as port ( also tried 6607) and tried both slave 1 and 0 and I keep getting connection failed. anything alse I should be looking at?
i'm trying to connect a SUN2000-8KTL-M2 inverter with software ending with PC161 and a Dongle using Ethernet cable with software version ending in PC133.

Hi, is you modbus active / turned on?

I actually had to set ModBus TCP to enable (unrestricted) - - under the Dongle Device Management >configuration all the way in the bottom there was this modBus TCP setting which was disabled.
That did the trick last friday.
