The /releasedelayed command will uncordon the Node and make other nodes continue with the update progress.

This ensures that:

  • The host started successully
  • Kubelet started
  • The suss pod started on the node

To allow cluster users to check for application availability, there should be a mechanism like a executing a probe or health-check to consider a node successfully (re)started.
