Requesting support for Portuguese in particular. Otherwise exposing the other optional languages supported by LibreTranslate in the hosted, non-docker version would be helpful

Hi @autotunafish, you are right that LibreTranslate supports more languages than are currently offered. The options are currently limited by the availability of good STT and TTS models for the other steps.

I see. Would an option that only enables the STT side to be printed into the chat box be possible? I think I may have been under the impression that was how it already worked, w/o the translated audio recreation.

any update on this? have any other new languages been added or can we add to our own build, if so how? I have Ukranian and Vietnamese cow workers who would benefit heavily from this if possible.

As far as I remember the challenge was mostly finding good open-source TTS models. But like mentioned above, do you @Satadaes, care about speech output or is a translated transcript sufficient/even preferred?
By now the bot uses a different system for speech recognition which supports most languages by default.

Is it possible to add support for Arabic? Even if it only does the STT and doesn't do the TTS part back, that would be super helpful!
