wowhead API alternative for blocked countries

The following countries have been blocked from accessing any of the websites owned and operated by ZAM Network, LLC DBA Fanbyte (the owner of Wowhead.com):

• China
• Indonesia
• Philippines
• Thailand
• Turkey
• Serbia
• India

Introduce alternative APIs for those countries.

Hi @neeckola 👋 I apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused! I know it's frustrating and hurts the user experience. Unfortunately wowhead is by far the most reliable source for wow data and the entire site is set up to work off of wowhead item and spell IDs. Providing an alternative API would require a substantial lift / may not be realistically feasible.

What you can do in the meantime though is use a VPN to get around the geographical restriction. There's several great free/cheap options out there.
