MotivateMe - A New Tab Extension with Inspirational Quotes

MotivateMe is a simple yet powerful new tab extension that displays your own inspiring quotes, reminder, affirmation or anything that you want to constantly remind yourself. e.g Drink Water. This extension is designed to motivate and inspire you every time you open a new tab.

Features:

  • Displays inspirational information on a new tab page (your own)
  • Easy to customize - just update the quotes array in the code!

Getting Started:

  1. Clone or download this repository to use the extension.
  2. Update the quotes array in quotes.json with your own inspirational quotes.
  3. Load the extension in your browser and start getting motivated!

Manual Installation on Chrome or Brave:

Step 1: Enable Developer Mode

  • Chrome: Go to chrome://extensions/, toggle the switch to enable Developer Mode.
  • Brave: Go to brave://extensions/, toggle the switch to enable Developer Mode.

Step 2: Load the Extension

  • Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder that contains the extension's files.

Step 3: Start Motivating!

  • Open a new tab to see your inspirational quotes in action!

Note:

This extension is designed to be easy to customize, so feel free to add or modify quotes to suit your needs.
