Mention if accruing a large amount of points without uploading will degrade performance or not

Please add to the note inside the app about best practices, or in some other FAQ inside the app, the question if allowing the app to accrue a large amount of data without occasionally uploading it... will that degrade performance in any way?

Certainly if one uses the map at least, there must be some penalty when the program has to dig deep around in the files to find points?

The truth is the app should still be responsive regardless of number of measurements but the reality is different. The performance topic is one of those bigger things that require a lot time which I don't have currently.
