Autofocus opened file in editor on Linux after first click

I run Zed 0.172.11 on Linux, 6.8.0-51-generic #52~22.04.1-Ubuntu, with X server.
When I click a file in a file tree, the editor panel with the opened file does not get focused - instead, a file tree panel still holds focus.
If I click a file again, then the editor panel gets focus and I can edit/search code.
That weirdly makes navigation too uncomfortable, and it would be nice to have editor focused on the first click, as on Mac.
